T-WEB is Thoroughbred's browser-based development system. It integrates Thoroughbred Basic, OPENworkshop, the T-WEB compiler, TS WebServer, and Dictionary-IV objects so you can modify existing — and develop new — Thoroughbred applications that run in any modern browser.
T-WEB generates a high-level event handler. The basic client handles many users' requests rather than each session running its own copy of Basic — the background Web Basic runs as a single control program that knows which Method handles each event, then generates the HTML for the browser display.
T-WEB moves applications from procedural, menu-driven flows to user-driven, random-access browser interactions. Click any object on screen — drill down, jump tabs, open a report.
